Redirecting Children's Behavior

Five Week Course

The hands-on, interactive course teaches parents*
tools for positive discipline that work!

In this course parents learn how to re-frame challenges, address feelings compassionately, set limits, and how to understand misbehavior in order to tailor their discipline more effectively.  Setting their own individual goals, parents learn how to make agreements and design effective consequences to use when agreements are not honored.  They also learn how to build their child’s self-esteem and gain cooperation while becoming versed in win-win negotiating and problem solving.  After completing the course, parents can continue to find connections and learn in the Quarterly Touchpoints, or be coached individually.

The Parent As Coach Approach

Designed especially for parents* of teens, The Parent As Coach Approach, assists parents learn how to step out of the role of teacher and administrator for their teens, and step respectfully into the role of being their coach.  Inspired by the work of Diana Sterling, parents learn the seven ways to improve their relationships with their teens and support them as they grow into responsible, independent adults.  After completing the course, parents can continue to find connections and learn in the Quarterly Touchpoints, or be coached individually.
